The Best Friends Used Bookstore continues as a main source of revenue for the Friends of the Library to fund many programs, services, technology and events for the North Haven Memorial Library.  At this time, the Friends seek your donations of gently-used books, especially children’s books.  However, textbooks, outdated reference materials, videos and damaged items cannot be accepted.  The Friends are thankful for the community’s continued support both in donating and purchasing the used books and other items.  All proceeds from the bookstore sales are reinvested in the Memorial Library. 

Your donations are accepted at the Adult Circulation Desk and the Children’s Department Desk whenever the library is open.

From the LION Catalog, click on Login to My Account.  Type in your last name and library card barcode number.  On the left, click on the link for Reading History.  Click on Opt In, and from now on, every item you’ve checked out will appear on this list.  Happy reading, listening and viewing!

 Cake pans and cookie cutters are available to borrow with your library card.  Consult the display in the Children’s Department to see the many themed pans such as Sponge Bob, Mickey Mouse,  Enchanted Castle, and Scooby Doo.  There are also heart, book, t-shirt and bundt pans.  The loan period for these items is one week.
